July 12, 2009 - Join the Boston Friends of Safe Passage for a 5K run and walk fundraiser.

Come and join us on Sunday, July 12th at Fresh Pond in Cambridge, MA, for a 5k Fun Run and Walk to benefit Safe Passage.

The registration cost for the Boston Friends 5k Fun Run and Walk is $20. To Register simply click on this link "Register" and follow the instructions. Your registration fee is donated directly to Safe Passage through a website called Firstgiving. If you can't participate but want to donate, please follow the link and enter the amount of your contribution.

To maximize our fundraising efforts, please start your own Firstgiving page and send it to your friends and colleagues asking them to sponsor you in this race. It's easy and only takes a few minutes. Let us know if you need assistance and we are happy to help!

This year is our Ten Year Anniversary and the fundraising goal for this event is to raise $2000. This amount will support two students for one year of secondary school. We can do it!

The race is not designed to be competitive but we encourage you to set your own goal of fundraising and/or time.

Tee-shirts will be available for the first 40 participants and the event will be held rain or shine. We hope that you can make it!
