Expeditions are a key part of Expeditionary Learning, which is the guiding methodology of our full-day school at Safe Passage.

Expeditions are educational journeys that take place in and out of the classroom, involving research, group work, community outings, and final presentations.

This past year, our students ventured beyond the garbage dump community on a variety of outings. Expeditions encourage in our students a sense of teamwork, stronger confidence in themselves, and a greater curiosity about the world around them.

Thanks to our donors, this interactive learning style is possible for our students. Their support means that our students can continue learning both in and beyond their classrooms.
