Visitors, Volunteers, and Support Teams

Interested in deepening your connection to Safe Passage, learning about the issues we are addressing, or partnering to advance opportunities for Guatemalan youth and their families?

We provide planned visits on the last Wednesday of each month. Please fill out this form if you would like to schedule your visit. If you are hoping to visit Safe Passage outside of these dates please contact us at infoguate@safepassage.org to coordinate!

We can provide individuals and groups with virtual tours and live-streamed opportunities to deepen your connection to our community.

Types of Volunteers, Visitors, and Support Teams Safe Passage Receives

Volunteers: An individual who takes a guided tour (approximately 2 hours) of Safe Passage’s facilities and programs to learn about the organization and explore collaboration options. Visitors must be 14 or older and accompanied by an adult.

Support Teams: Safe Passage’s third party travel agency partner will provide Support Team coordination in Guatemala. Support Teams require a team leader, and can be made up of individuals, employee teams, foundation representatives, faith-based institutions, and academic partners. Team members are recommended to be at least 18 years of age and accompanied by one chaperone for each minor
