For this one-of-a-kind event, we joined forces with Stare Vie in Guatemala, the first and only space in the country, bringing together fashion designers, artists, and emerging entrepreneurs. Stare Vie has established itself as a concept store that offers a space for art, culture, fashion, and lifestyle. 

This combined effort features work from almost 30 (primarily Guatemalan) designers, in an effort to bring people together as a global community and spread awareness around the work Safe Passage does. Each hand-made, custom piece was created from recycled materials like those found in the Guatemala City garbage dump. The event also included the debut of a new Safe Passage video featuring some of our students, who shared a bit about themselves and their hopes for the future.

If you are in Guatemala, you can also bid on the items in the show! All pieces will be auctioned off to benefit Safe Passage. Bidding goes until 11:59 PM EST (10:59 PM CST), Friday 11/12 at www.airauctioneer.com/fromtrashtotreasure.
